L'aneth est une herbe culinaire classique dans les cultures gastronomiques occidentales, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s par exemple du persil, du c\u00e9leri et du thym. Les feuilles sont vert gazon et ont une belle forme plumeuse. L'aneth a une odeur et une saveur tr\u00e8s aromatiques, faciles \u00e0 distinguer. Dans l'ensemble, le go\u00fbt est sucr\u00e9 et herbac\u00e9, avec des notes d'anis et des nuances acides.<\/p>\n

Depuis des si\u00e8cles, l'aneth est utilis\u00e9 dans les plats copieux. On pensait aussi que cette herbe avait des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9dicinales. Par exemple, les Grecs anciens utilisaient les feuilles contre le hoquet, tandis qu'en \u00c9gypte ancienne, les graines \u00e9taient utilis\u00e9es pour favoriser un meilleur sommeil.
